Home Cheesemaking with Marc Druart
Vermont is famous for its cheesemaking and turning fresh milk into curd is truly an art. A hands-on cheesemaking demonstration will give you a glimpse into the science and art of making great and simple cheese at home! Marc Druart, Master Cheesemaker at the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese (VIAC), and friends will demonstrate the art of home cheesemaking from coagulating the milk to forming the curd and storing your cheese. Participants will be asked to assist Marc.
