Cheesemaking at Shelburne Farms

9:00 am-3:30 pm

Visit the historic Farm Barn at the heart of Shelburne Farms.
Observe our cheesemakers at work crafting cheddar in the production room, stroll around the courtyard, and befriend the animals in the Children's Farmyard. We are making cheese 9 am–3:30 pm on festival day and our cheesemaking puts the “farm” in Shelburne Farms, how it supports our education programs for sustainablility, or simply relax in this beautiful place. To get to the Farm Barn, take a twenty minute walk through the woods, catch a wagon ride, or make the short drive from the Coach Barn.
