It is with great sadness that we announce that the 2020 Vermont Cheesemakers Festival is cancelled.  As an early ticket buyer for the festival, you have a few options for what you can do with your ticket funds – and I wanted to share a couple of options regarding how you can still support both the council and the cheesemakers if you’d be interested in those:

  1. Choose to donate your ticket value to the councilEmail us, saying “I’d like to donate my ticket value” – and we can transfer your ticket to be a donation ticket. This money will go directly to the council to help support us.  If you would like to donate a portion of your tickets/refund another, we can do that too (i.e. you can donate one ticket and refund one ticket).
  2. Choose to buy a Victory Cheese Box & support the council through that:  The Victory Cheese Box is a program that the council helped found for the purpose of helping our Vermont cheesemakers improve sales, after most of them saw 25-75% drops in sales in response to COVID-19; it allows you to buy a selection of Vermont cheeses that can be shipped to you, and a portion of that purchase revenue will go the council.  We have a mix of options – and like the festival itself: You can choose to purchase the mix of cheese that is most up your alley…Click here to jump below and check those out…
  3. Do both! This option is most like going to the festival:  It helps you support the council to fund us through to next year’s festival AND it’s a chance to get a great selection of delicious Vermont cheeses delivered to your doorstep!

If you are already a ticket holder for this year’s festival, please email me to let me know what direction you would like to take – and I can help you with whatever that is.  And if you would like a full refund, simply email us – and we will absolutely provide that as well.  If we do not hear back from you by June 30, we will automatically refund your tickets in full.  And if you have any questions – please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thanks very much – and we hope to see you next year!
